Callum Stewart Macdonald, son of Norman and Jan Macdonald, was married to Kristy Anne Thompson on 28th December 2008.

Catherine, daughter of Norman and Jan Macdonald, is expecting her second child, a girl, to be named Skye Anthea Macdonald-Jones, in June 2009.

September 2008:  High Commissioner Norman Macdonald was elected to the position of Junior Vice President of the Victorian Scottish Union.   There is expectation that Norman will advance through the ranks of heirachy in the VSU and become President in September 2010, and Chief of the VSU in 2012.
