Participants arrive in Edinburgh, to stay at the Macdonald Holyrood Hotel. We will have our Welcome Dinner at the hotel in the evening.
Saturday, June 19:
We will travel to Inverness, with a stop at the Ben Nevis Distillerty for lunch and a cask tour. We will stay at the Drumossie Hotel in Inverness. After arrival, participants may visit Culloden Battlefield & Visitor Center, or may choose to walk through Inverness.
Sunday, June 20:
We will travel to John O'Groats and board the ferry for Kirkwall, the capital of Orkney. We will spend three nights at the Stromness Hotel. After landing at Kirkwall, and hands-on tour of the Highland Park Distillery comes highly recommended! During our stay in Orkney, we will have a day-long professionally guided tour to visit sites older than the Great Pyramids and view some of the most remarkable archaeology in the world, including the Ring of Brodgar, Skara Brae and Maeshowe. We will also follow the "craft trail" for local handmade jewelry, Orkney chairs and Orkney ice cream. Our stay will provide us the opportunity to attend the annual St. Magnus Festival, Orkney's world class Midsummer Celebration of The Arts...a very special Orkney treat!
Wednesday, June 23:
We will head back to the mainland and onto the Isle of Skye for one night, with the intention of a stop at Eilean Donan Castle and a night in Portree's Cuillin Hills Hotel.
Thursday, June 24:
We will once again return to our Clan lands, Armadale Castle Gardens & Museum of The Isles, the Clan Donald Centre on the Isle of Skye. There we will be welcomed for lunch and time for browsing. The long scenic route will then take us back to Edinburgh and the Macdonald Holyrood Hotel, where we will have our Farewell Dinner together.
Friday, June 25:
Today, we check out of the Macdonald Holyrood Hotel, and say "Farewell" until next we meet!

Because of rising costs and Tour arrangement deposits now required from the High Council of Clan Donald, we are forced to begin requiring a NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT as noted above, from all Tour Participants.
Therefore, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND that each Tour Participant acquire their own TRAVEL INSURANCE, insuring that personal costs are covered in the event of an emergency trip cancellation.
